POSITION SUMMARY The Entry-Level Data Coordinator plays a key supporting role on the Data & Analytics team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong interest in data organization and impact measurement in a nonprofit setting. The Entry-Level Data Coordinator will assist with data collection entry and maintenance across systems and platforms (such as spreadsheets databases electronic health records and data dashboards). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented eager to learn and comfortable working with both data and people. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include but are not limited to the following: - Demographic Tracking: Maintain and update demographic information for clients served across all programs ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Data Collection & Entry: Gather raw data from clinical systems (e.g. intake forms EHRs) and other program sources; input organize and maintain data in spreadsheets databases and internal systems.
- Data Validation & Compliance: Perform data quality checks to ensure accuracy completeness and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Reporting & Analysis Support: Prepare and manage data for internal and external reporting including dashboards (e.g. Tableau Excel) and required submissions such as UDS or funder reports.
- Survey Administration: Assist in the design distribution and collection of surveys for internal assessments and external stakeholder needs.
- Staff & Program Support: Coordinate with program teams to ensure consistent and standardized data capture; respond to basic data-related requests run simple reports and update records as needed.
- System Assistance: Provide entry-level support for EHR-related data tasks and assist with maintaining reporting tools and visualizations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES) - Bachelors degree in social science and/or equivalent non-profit work experience.
- Basic knowledge of statistics.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Desire to increase knowledge of data analysis techniques and principles.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
