Pay
HK$37590 to HK$60488 (HGPS Pt 15 25) per month including Monthly Allowance
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff at the end of each 3 years during the 9-year contract period subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coach and monitor nurse learners clinical performance as well as their professional conduct.
2. Provide counseling for nurse learners on academic and clinical practice related matters.
3. Liaise and coordinate nurse learners participation in ward activities with clinical staff.
4. Facilitate active learning in clinical setting such as integration of theoretical learning to clinical practice.
5. Assess and evaluate the clinical performance of nurse learners.
6. Assist in other teaching activities and administrative work of the school.
7. Undertake other general nursing duties to be assigned by School Principal whenever necessary.
Entry Requirements
1. A Certificate of Registration (Part I) and a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong.
2. Fluent Cantonese.
Preferable Attributes/Exposure
1. Clinical experience in the relevant specialty / services.
2. Mentoring / Teaching experience in clinical areas.
3. A Master degree in nursing or related discipline.
4. Be able to communicate in English.
5. Demonstrated competency requirements and role model of a mentor.
6. Committed in vision and mission of Hong Kong West Cluster.
