Our client is a service provider that supports all types of visa applications and also offers translation services.
They are currently seeking a Deputy Manager of Finance.
Job Description
- Managing the overall finance activities of the operation unit and liaising with counterparties.
- Handling day-to-day processes and activities related to collection payment and reporting.
- Being responsible for maintaining books of accounts and reconciling them on a monthly quarterly and annual basis while ensuring timely reporting of financial information.
- Ensuring proper internal controls and compliance with statutory legal and internal audit requirements as well as closing audit points.
- Ensuring compliance with both local regulations and the companys policies.
- Ensuring internal customer satisfaction and promoting continuous professional development.
- Suggesting and initiating cost-saving measures and improvements.
- Supporting meetings with clients and management reporting for the responsible operation unit.
- Performing other ad-hoc assignments as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- At least 4-5 years of experience in an AP & GL role or full-cycle accounting.
- Qualification with an auditor or accounting firm background is preferred.
- Fair to good command of English.
- Team player with strong analytical people management and communication skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
