Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the financial operations of the commodity trading company.
- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the companys growth and profitability.
- Manage and optimize the companys financial resources including cash flow working capital and investment decisions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors tax advisors and financial institutions.
- Lead the finance team providing guidance coaching and support for their professional development.
- Collaborate with other departments to drive financial and operational performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in finance or accounting roles with at least 5 years in a managerial position.
- Experience in the commodity trading industry is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record of financial analysis and strategic planning.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to senior management and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
