Description

At Dangote Cement Plc Gboko we are currently seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Junior Mining Engineer to join our team in the cement industry.

  • Ensure efficient communication of machine breakdowns to the Maintenance team for necessary repairs to meet production targets.
  • Supervise Shift in Crushing loading and hauling to achieve target output.
  • Coordinate with the quality assurance laboratory to maintain required product quality.
  • Maintain the operation of raw and cement mills by ensuring the continuous supply of limestone.
  • Ensure safety of personnel and equipment.
  • Report machine faults promptly to the Heavy Mobile Plant supervisor.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and utilize necessary personal protective equipment.
  • Perform other assigned duties as directed.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • HND or its equivalent in mining engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years experience
  • Good communication skill
  • Computer Literacy with proficiency in MS word
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • A Team Player and ability to learn
  • Must be dedicated and accountable
