About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor whos fluent in the YouTube format someone who can take raw unscripted footage and turn it into polished story-driven content with minimal direction.
This is a part-time role (1020 hours/week) to start with the potential to grow into a full-time position as the content pipeline grows. Youll start with podcast edits and short-form content like YouTube Shorts Reels and TikToks with the opportunity to take on more creative narrative projects over time.
What Youll Be Doing
- Editing long-form YouTube content tutorials interviews and podcasts
- Creating short-form videos for platforms like YouTube Shorts Reels and TikTok
- Shaping strong narratives from raw footage especially unscripted material
- Enhancing content with thoughtful pacing captions and dynamic on-screen text
- Working collaboratively via tools like Google Drive and Notion
- Managing your own workflow while staying aligned with the brands creative voice
What Were Looking For
- Proven experience editing both long-form and short-form video content
- Great storytelling instincts you know how to carve a narrative from unstructured footage
- A sharp eye for style you understand whats trending and whats outdated
- A feel for American humor dry self-aware and punchy
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere
- Fast reliable internet and a strong technical setup
- Self-directed responsive and creatively proactive
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with documentary-style or narrative-led video content
- Basic motion graphics or animation skills
- A portfolio that shows off your range and storytelling style
