Your role with us:
As our Technical SEO Manager you wont just follow strategy - youll own it. Acting as the bridge between SEO vision and engineering execution this role leads technical initiatives that elevate search visibility across our global brands. From optimising platform architecture to implementing scalable SEO solutions youll tackle complex challenges head-on turning technical insight into measurable impact. Beyond execution this role mentors others sets standards and shapes best practices - all while driving initiatives from concept to launch with autonomy.
Please Note: We believe in the value of in-person collaboration! This is a full-time on-site role at our Melbourne CBD office where youll work closely with our dynamic team to drive innovation and growth.

What you will do:
- Drive technical SEO strategy implementation across all platforms (TG Labs Octavian Sveltekit) in partnership with SEO Lead.
- Brief and liaise with Product and Engineering teams on technical SEO requirements and new feature development.
- Conduct advanced technical SEO audits and oversee implementation of optimisation initiatives for regulated markets.
- Mentor and develop Technical SEO Executive through mentoring training and task delegation.
- Translate SEO requirements into technical specifications and JIRA tickets for engineering teams.
- Oversee site architecture crawlability rendering strategies and performance optimisation across all properties.
- Analyse and report on technical SEO performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain technical SEO standards documentation and best practices for cross-team adoption.
- Research and implement emerging SEO technologies and automation tools to scale operations.
- Coordinate with external vendors and third-party providers on technical integrations.
- Support SEO Lead in capacity planning and resource allocation for technical initiatives.
What you will bring:
- 4 years of experience in technical SEO with at least 2 years in a senior capacity.
- Proven experience managing technical SEO for large-scale websites (100000 pages).
- Strong background in web technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript React/Vue/Svelte).
- Experience with headless CMS implementations (Sanity preferred).
- Proficiency with technical SEO tools (Screaming Frog Ahrefs SEMrush Google Search Console).
- Demonstrated ability to brief and collaborate with engineering teams.
Bonus points if you also have:
- Degree in Computer Science Information Technology Marketing or related field.
- Experience with JAMstack architecture and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with international/multi-language SEO and regulated markets.
- Gambling and cryptocurrency knowledge are advantageous.
- Proficient with Google Suite (Drive Spreadsheets Docs) Slack Jira
