job context and purpose

By creating the position of Head of Advisory Research Randstad is advancing its plan to accelerate business growth drive market differentiation and propel value creation for clients.

The Head of Advisory Research is a talent acquisition leader with extensive customer facing experience a deep understanding of international sourcing and placement and considerable previous client exposure - having led discussions with senior stakeholders to achieve strategic goals.

They will play a key role in the talent advisory group within the Randstad Enterprise Solutions. They will be responsible for co-designing the future of our intelligence advisory approach (in collaboration with the Global Head of Intelligence Advisory) design and build the function towards executing on these goals and drive delivery to success.

The Head of Advisory Research will report to VP Global Intelligence Randstad Enterprise Solutions and work closely with the Global Head of Intelligence Advisory and talent Advisory Consultants ensuring customer needs are clearly understood iterated upon relevant intelligence content is produced and the output is presented back in a professional way reflecting the Head of Advisory Researchs expertise in the area.

Key outputs led by the Head of Advisory Research include e.g. Location strategies Talent competitive analysis as well as deep dives on: automation risk reskilling/upskilling segment base work model definition - onsite hybrid remote preferred employment type etc..

your responsibilities

Client Engagements

  • Accompanies Global Head of Intelligence Advisory to customer scoping calls (or can cover them as needed) will lead intelligence advisory engagements on behalf of the WAG team support identifying key stakeholder challenges and co-design the right approach with the customer and Global Head of Intelligence Advisory

  • Based on the scoping notes captured provides input to Global Head of Intelligence Advisory on intelligence driven solution possibilities for the customer and co-designs the product concept at a strategic level covering the entire intelligence advisory portfolio (including strategic talent planning and other new product-lines)

  • Participates in strategic consulting discussions with client stakeholders in the support of intelligence data and insights and takes part in presentation of intelligence advisory content (either standing by to support with details or leading presentation)

  • Provide deep insights from HR and TA data repositories including external analysts benchmarking sources and thought leadership collateral - innovative and creative application of these insights to guide client decision making and planning

  • Ability to work with the internal Randstad cross-functional Accelerator teams in a matrixed environment in the service of a client engagement

  • Provide oversight and quality assurance for data researchers supporting engagements

  • Leverage content creation suites as part of day to day client deliverables

Practice Development

  • Work with the Randstad Customer Acceleration teams to plan develop and productize assets to leverage as part of talent advisory

  • Eextensive and proven success of relevant work experience within the talent acquisition space including expertise in operational sourcing strategy solutions and leading discussions with senior internal & customer stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead a team focused on complex activities

  • A deep understanding of process creation and optimization

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and transform into insights

  • Familiarity with cutting edge talent sourcing techniques and ability to apply these principles to multiple consulting use cases at a strategic level

  • Excellent presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to simplify complex information and transform it into actionable insights

  • understanding talent acquisition structures (comes with the right sourcing profile see below)

  • sourcing & information retrieval techniques (has sourced talent cross-border across seniority levels and industries then had to present candidates to the client directly)

  • efficient interview techniques

  • ability to present complex information in a concise way also on the back of a challenge from the client

  • active listening & note taking skills ensuring information integrity

  • Ability to consult with and identify needs of internal and customers and drive value creation

  • Strong organizational analytical and problem solving abilities

  • Strong digital fluency and ability to adapt to emerging technologies
