What Youll Do

• Performs ultrasonic recordings and Doppler flow analyses of the heart and related structures using ultrasound equipment for use by a physician in diagnosis of heart disease and study of the heart.
• Performs echocardiograms in accordance with established practices and procedures.
• Provides preliminary diagnostic evaluation and notifies cardiologists of results of examinations.
• Consults with cardiologist to establish requirements for non-standard examinations and determines technical factors to satisfy requirements.
• Is responsible for patient safety protocols.
• Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.
• Participates actively in Performance Improvement Radiation Safety Patient Satisfaction Radiological Patient and Physician Education Continuous Quality Improvement and other various committees as assigned.
• Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.

Who Were Looking For

• Credentialed in echocardiography from ARDMS CCI ARRT (S) required. A
• Accredited Echocardiography Program preferred.
• Must have current American Heart Association BLS card within 3 months of initial employment and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.
• Minimum of 2 year of professional echocardiography experience in a hospital patient care setting preferred.

• Pay Range: $35.94 - $57.04 (based on experience)

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors including a candidates qualifications skills competencies and experience.
