Job Description
The Senior Manager Fulfillment Operations is a strategic leadership role responsible for the end-to-end management of all fulfillment and inventory operations. This position oversees two critical teams: the Fulfillment Center Team and the Inventory Planning Team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of e-commerce logistics supply chain management and team leadership. They will be tasked with optimizing operational efficiency ensuring seamless collaboration across departments and driving strategic initiatives to achieve business growth and exceptional customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
What Youll Do
Strategic Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team including the Fulfillment Center Team (Warehouse Manager Fulfillment Operation Executives) and the Inventory Planning Team (Demand and Supply Chain Planning Manager Senior Executive Inventory Planning Supply Chain Analyst Executive).
- Develop a high-performing culture through effective coaching performance management and career development plans for team members.
- Align team goals and objectives with the companys overall business strategy ensuring a cohesive and productive work environment.
Fulfillment & Warehouse Operations:
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations focusing on workflow optimization inventory accuracy and readiness for peak sales periods like Double Digi Days and platform-specific campaigns (Lazada Shopee TikTokShop).
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance order processing speed and dispatch efficiency ensuring a best-in-class customer experience.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to reduce costs minimize lead times and increase overall efficiency within the fulfillment cycle.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations and established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Inventory & Supply Chain Management:
- Provide strategic oversight for the entire inventory planning process working closely with the Inventory Planning Team to forecast demand manage stock levels and optimize supply chain flows.
- Lead initiatives to improve inventory accuracy reduce stockouts and manage excess inventory effectively.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders including commercial and finance teams to align on inventory and supply chain strategies.
Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all fulfillment and inventory-related matters working with internal teams such as E-commerce Operations Key Account Management (KAM) and Customer Service.
- Manage relationships and negotiate contracts with Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers ensuring high-quality performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Work with regional teams to address and resolve system-related issues particularly concerning the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Financial Management & Performance Tracking:
- Be accountable for the departments budget controlling profit and loss related to fulfillment logistics and inventory management.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of fulfillment and inventory operations.
- Conduct regular performance analysis and report on key metrics to senior management identifying areas for continuous improvement.
Who You Are
- Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering Logistics Management Supply Chain or any related field.
- Fluent communication skills in the English language are a must.
- At least 5-8 years of direct experience in Fulfillment Warehouse Management or Supply Chain Management with a strong focus on digital e-commerce operations.
- Must have knowledge of AI adaptation in the job.
- Proven experience in managing e-commerce fulfillment for platforms like Lazada Shopee and TikTokShop especially during major sales events (Double Digi Days and others events).
- Direct experience in 3PL business management is essential.
- Ability to analyze processes and information identify problems and trends and develop effective solutions and strategies specific to e-commerce logistics.
- Excellent data analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in project management and process improvement strategies.
- Able to work at Wang Noi Ayutthaya province and able to have monthly meeting at AnyMind Office (Emporium Bangkok)
