Greetings Alberta Certified Teachers!
We are now hiring full time Alberta Education Certified high school Science and Math teachers (Physics and Math teaching required) teachers for the 2024 -2025 school year and beyond. Qualified applicants require no prior professional teaching experience. If you have recently graduated with a Bachelor of Education degree in Secondary education or will be graduating in the spring of 2024 we are interested in you!
This is a Tier 3 Alberta Accredited School with full time contracts available for dynamic high school Science teachers who can provide outstanding instruction and assessment according to the Teaching Quality Standards at our Alberta Accredited International School in Qingdao China.
We currently have positions open for diploma and non-diploma level courses in Physics and Mathematics. Our pay grid for teachers starts at $55000 - 57000 CAD (negotiable) and includes an annual return flight to and from China medical insurance a private furnished 2-bedroom apartment & quality high speed internet with VPN and more. Your experience in China counts toward years of teaching service in Alberta (for example to help achieve permanent teaching certification). Shandong Province has an extremely low cost of living and our wages are above competitive for international schools in China.
Teachers enjoy small classes and comfortable office space with resources. Our staff size is small and comfortable with a nice familial spirit. Daily schedules include prep time and opportunities for advancement in a collaborative atmosphere. There is no need to be able to speak Chinese and the school has local teaching assistants on hand to help with things like banking and other aspects of daily living.
