Job Description
JOB TITLE: Social Media Manager
JOB LOCATION:Lagos
JOB DETAILS:
ADVERTISEMENT
- As a Social Media Manager you will be responsible for managing our social media platforms (Instagram TikTok Facebook Twitter and LinkedIn).
- You will help develop a content calendar create engaging content and collaborate with the marketing team to produce thought leadership marketing assets that amplify ERAs mission and brand.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management:
- Manage daily posting and engagement across all social platforms.
- Monitor trends and recommend creative strategies to keep ERAs social presence vibrant and relevant.
Content Creation:
- Develop visually compelling and engaging content including graphics videos and copy tailored for each platform.
- Collaborate with designers and copywriters to ensure brand consistency.
Content Calendar:
- Develop and manage a monthly content calendar aligning it with marketing objectives.
- Plan posts around key campaigns events and trending topics.
Thought Leadership Assets:
- Work with the marketing team to create and promote thought leadership content including blogs case studies and expert interviews.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track and report on performance metrics for each platform to measure campaign effectiveness.
- Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing social strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Instagram LinkedIn Twitter Facebook and Tiktok
- Proven experience in content creation (graphics videos and copywriting).
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g. Hootsuite Buffer or Sprout Social).
- Ability to develop innovative and creative social campaigns.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a hybrid setup.
- Candidates living on Lagos Island are preferred for ease of collaboration.
