Job Description

Position: OB Hospitalist (Obstetric Hospitalist)

Location: Charlotte North Carolina

Schedule: Full-Time

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join our hospital-based labor & delivery team in the thriving city of Charlotte North Carolina. This is a unique opportunity to practice inpatient-focused obstetrics within a supportive collaborative environment dedicated to safe patient-centered care around the clock.

The incoming physician will provide comprehensive hospital-based obstetric care including triage admissions deliveries and inpatient consults. Youll work closely with midwives anesthesiology neonatology/pediatrics and nursing leadership to ensure timely evidence-based care and excellent patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities: Manage L&D triage and evaluate obstetric emergencies Perform and assist with deliveries Provide inpatient antepartum/postpartum care and consultations Respond to ED and inpatient obstetric/gynecologic consults as needed Participate in obstetric safety initiatives drills and quality improvement Collaborate with community OBs family medicine CNMs and hospital leadership Support patient education and shared decision-making

Position Requirements: MD or DO from an accredited institution Board Certified / Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology Active North Carolina medical license or eligibility to obtain Strong commitment to evidence-based team-oriented inpatient obstetric care
