Position Summary:
The Patient Transporter is an integral part of the patient care team providing prompt courteous customer-focused service to the patients visitors and coworkers of Good Samaritan Medical Center. The Patient Transporter is responsible for patient transport within the hospital and for miscellaneous functions as well. He/she contributes to service excellence by fostering collaboration among and between team members as well as other ancillary departments.

Schedule: 40 Hours Days 7a-3:30p - Saturday through Wednesday-Off Thursdays and Fridays
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
Previous hospital experience preferred
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
BLS/CPR certification required
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Ability to read write and communicate in English
Ability to lift without any limitations
