The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the electrical and instrumentation functions across various projects and locations. The Senior General Manager Electrical & Instrumentation will be responsible for ensuring the effective efficient and safe operation and maintenance of all electrical and instrumentation equipment systems and processes. This leadership role requires a strategic mindset exceptional technical knowledge and the ability to drive successful outcomes through effective teamwork and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the electrical and instrumentation strategy policies and procedures
- Oversee the planning installation maintenance and repairs of electrical and instrumentation systems and equipment
- Ensure compliance with electrical and instrumentation standards codes and regulations
- Monitor and manage project timelines and budgets for electrical and instrumentation activities
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to project teams and ensure effective coordination with other departments
- Lead a team of electrical and instrumentation technicians and professionals providing coaching mentorship and performance management
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes reduce downtime and enhance equipment reliability
Requirements - Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Instrumentation Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 25 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation management preferably in the cement industry with 10 years at in Senior Leadership Capacity.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems equipment and best practices
- Proven experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams
- Excellent organizational leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of relevant safety and regulatory standards and guidelines
