About the Role
As a Product Manager team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. we drive growth by developing new products and technologies. Apply your expertise in bioprocesses and chromatography resins to refine Go to Market and lifecycle this role the product manager will develop experience in a multifaceted and growing market as part of a small but dedicated team to agressively grow revenue and market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead new and existing products throughout their lifecycle for a product portfolio
- Life cycle management: Apply historical data and external benchmarks to refine lifecycle strategies including NPIs product updates product rationalization and discontinuation.
- Collaborative Efforts: Work seamlessly with marketing operations field applications commercial quality and R&D teams to achieve product line revenue and growth targets.
- Argument Preparation: Prepare revenue profit and loss models for the product portfolio. Lead NPDI Processes and Go-to-Market Strategies and guide New Product Development and Introduction processes from charter creation through successful launch. Develop and implement Go-To-Market strategies for new products including marketing plans customer-facing content.
- Performance monitoring: Develop processes to monitor and take action on metrics such as win/loss CAS product vitality and driven performance
- Sales and customer support: Support the global sales and field applications team and expedite customer requests regarding quality or product performance.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
- A bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a life science scientific field is required.
- A proven experience in the bioprocess industry of life sciences with several years in product management or a related role.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to optimally communicate value propositions and technical information to customers and internal audiences.
