General Summary:
- The Senior Director of IT Infrastructure & Security is responsible for the strategic leadership and operational oversight of the organizations network infrastructure and cybersecurity functions.
- This includes the design implementation and management of wide area networks (WAN) local area networks (LAN) wireless networks and all IT security operations.
- The role also leads and manages the IT Network Engineering team and the IT Security Analyst team.
- Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) this position ensures the confidentiality integrity and availability of the organizations systems and data while maintaining a secure scalable and resilient IT environment.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required:
- Bachelors degree in information technology cybersecurity or a related field or comparable experience required; Masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP CISM CCNP) preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing network infrastructure and cybersecurity in a healthcare or similarly regulated environment.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise networking (routing switching wireless) firewalls VPNs and cybersecurity tools (SIEM IDS/IPS endpoint protection).
- Strong understanding of HIPAA HITECH NIST and other healthcare cybersecurity standards.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams including network engineering and security operations.
- Proven ability to align infrastructure and security operations with organizational goals and risk management strategies.
- Experience leading cybersecurity incident response and recovery efforts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to executive stakeholders.
- Skilled in managing large-scale infrastructure and security projects from planning through execution.
- Commitment to continuous improvement emerging technologies and proactive risk mitigation.

The pay range for this position is $150000 minimum to $190000 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to years and level of related experience.
