Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections and quality checks on welded metal components and machined parts.
- Conduct visual inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) of welds.
- Ensure compliance with welding specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain inspection records and documentation.
- Monitor and maintain equipment used for inspections.
- Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of quality systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and advancements in welding and machining.
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Certification as a Welding Inspector is highly desirable.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance or inspection roles preferably in the metal or machining industry.
- Strong knowledge of welding processes and techniques.
- Understanding of NDT methods and inspection tools.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work in the East region of Singapore.
