The Role

The Executive Manager Business & Rural will build maintain and lead portfolio centres of excellence across Business with a specific focus on SME Business and Rural customers relating to Commercial Property Schemes Liability Commercial Motor and Rural.

Also this role will manage and lead the strategy and optimisation for Business customers using connectivity and platforms to drive sustainable business.

What youll do

• Own and lead the execution of the Suncorp NZ Business Plan
• Accountable for the profit contribution of the SME & Platform Business including Business Property (focussing on sums insured <$50m) Liability Commercial Motor Schemes and Facilities and Rural customers
• Accountable for the management of related Business platforms e.g. Solvit VeroOne SalesForce and partner platforms (e.g. SCTP) to deliver the Business strategy and associated project portfolio objectives
• Accountable for the governance and management of the Schemes & Facilities arrangements SNZ working with EM Consumer to ensure commercial risk and portfolio performance
• Oversee and drive the identification of new opportunities to enhance the customer experience simplify business process and create value for our customers business partners and shareholders
• Accountable for delivering on digitisation and automation strategic plans for Business

What youll bring

• Extensive experience in Commercial product management pricing and/or underwriting
• Functional leadership at a senior management level
• Demonstrated experience in managing strategic roadmaps for multiple platforms to drive business success
• Demonstrable success in leading and influencing at all levels across a large organisation
