As a member of the off-site team you will work with the team to ensure our products timber and LGS frames are installed to company specifications liase with cross-functional team on site and in the office to ensure meet the project timelines.

This role will be based on one of our sites in North County Dublin.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Complete residential projects to company specifications
  • Manage & direct multiple sub-contracted erecting teams
  • Ensure all site works are carried out to strict timelines
  • Ensure all site works are carried out to the highest standard in accordance with the companies design & engineering department and relevant regulations
  • Record all site inspections and checklists and ensure handover sheets are properly maintained.
  • Have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the scope of works and challenges of each project prior to commencement. Ensure errors/omissions are logged and formally communicated to the relevant department
  • Act as point of contact for the client and erecting teams on all site operation and safety issues and deal with site related queries
  • Perform hands on quality control recording defects and when required addressing them by use of tools.
  • Record Non-conformance promptly and accurately as part of ongoing quality control improvements and resolve quickly in accordance with agreed action plan
  • Maintain professional cooperative and helpful manner at all times
  • Other ad hoc duties that the Company may require from time to time.


Requirements
  • Experience in site supervision
  • First-hand knowledge of timber frame/ light guage steel products and component parts
  • A strong technical background - engineering or carpentry preferred
  • Construction industry knowledge and ability to liaise with other trades on site
  • Knowledge of current building regulations and requirements
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organisational & communication skills
  • Strong Health & Safety direction to ensure all areas of site works comply with regulations and the ability to take decisive action when required
  • Full clean Irish driving licence
