Junior Legal & Compliance Associate (Fixed-Term 12 Months)

Location: Denmark (Remote or Hybrid within Denmark)

About the Role:
Are you a recent law graduate or a legal professional at the beginning of your career looking to gain hands-on experience in an international environment Join our Nordic legal team for a 12-month fixed-term position supporting Marsh and Mercer operations in Sweden and across the Nordics. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced legal counsel contribute to real-world compliance and regulatory matters and grow your skills within a global professional services firm.

What Youll Be Doing:
Support with reviewing commercial contracts and internal legal documentation.
Assist in updating legal templates and improving contract management processes.
Help with routine compliance tasks and documentation.
Translate regulatory updates (such as data privacy or financial regulations) into clear business guidance.
Collaborate with teams across Sweden Denmark and the wider European legal network.
Participate in legal and compliance projects under the guidance of senior counsel.

What Were Looking For:
A law degree (or close to completion).
Up to 2 years of legal or compliance-related experience (internships included).
Interest in contract law compliance or regulatory matters.
Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced international environment.
Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
Structured and detail-oriented approach.

Nice to Have:
Previous internship or experience in a law firm insurance or financial services company.
Familiarity with GDPR or other EU regulatory frameworks.
Fluency in a Nordic language (Swedish is a plus but not required).
