Supply Chain and Production Planner (w/m/x)

We produce an innovative compostable material that replaces plastic made from plant-based residues without petroleum and without microplastics. We are looking for your support as a Supply and Production Planner in our Supply Chain Management team! You will manage the important interface between customer demand material supply and our first industrial plant!

Your responsibilities as a Supply and Production Planner:

Demand Planning

• Consolidation and maintenance of a rolling demand forecast based on input from Sales Operations and Product & Process Development

• Establishment of feedback loops to continuously improve forecast accuracy

Supply Planning and Raw Material Procurement

• Derivation of time-phased material requirements for raw materials additives packaging and auxiliary materials based on forecast and production plan

• Maintenance of planning parameters such as safety stocks minimum order quantities and lead times in the ERP system (Business Central) and Coordination and execution of raw material planning and call-off orders

• Regular planning reviews to assess supply readiness and coordinate mitigation actions

Production Planning

• Creation and management of an executable production plan for our fully continuous production facility in close coordination with the production lead and considering capacity equipment availability material readiness and demand

• Monitoring of production plan adherence active issue resolution and proactive communication of adjustments

• Facilitation of weekly production planning meetings to align production material status and order fulfillment in close coordination with Customer Service Production Maintenance and Logistics

Your workplace will be our brand-new demonstration plant in Hamburg-Harburg.

• Education or degree in Logistics Business Administration Industrial Engineering or comparable qualification or professional experience in Supply Chain Management Production Planning Material Planning or Demand Planning ideally in a manufacturing environment

• Ability to think holistically about planning processes and connect operational execution with strategic goals

• Structured analytical working style with a high sense of responsibility

• Proficient in Excel; experience with ERP systems such as Business Central or SAP is a plus

• Strong communication skills team spirit and enthusiasm for cross-functional collaboration

• Very good command of both German and English

• Reliability attention to detail and a hands-on solution-oriented mindset
