Are you skilled in assembling electronic components reading schematics and working with light metal fabrication Were looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our production team and help build top-tier industrial products. From wiring to testing youll play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality assemblies in a fast-paced hands-on environment. Requirements

Summary: Assembles electronic components sub-assemblies products or systems for industrial use by performing the following duties in a production environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reads work orders electrical schematics and follows production drawings and sample assemblies or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
  • Positions and aligns parts in light metal fabrication and cable assembly process according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
  • Crimps stakes screws bolts rivets welds solders cements press fits or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
  • Mounts assembled components such as transformers resistors transistors capacitors integrated circuits and sockets on chassis panel.
  • Assembles electrical wiring and components and connects to printed circuit or routes and connects wires between individual component leads and other components connectors terminals and contact points.
  • Installs finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.
  • Assembles and attaches hardware such as caps clamps knobs and switches to assemblies.
  • Operates drill presses hydraulic knockout punches and grinders.
  • Adjusts or trims materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics.
  • Performs online go-not-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or Associates Degree (A.S.) in a technical discipline such as Electronics preferred; and 2-3 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Some knowledge of NEC Code.
