Job Description
Position: Senior Business Intelligence Developer
Employer: Deacon Health Inc.
Job Location: 102 Woodmont Boulevard Suite 300 Nashville TN 37205
May work remotely from a home office location but must live within normal commuting distance of the Nashville TN office.
DUTIES: Model data from multiple sources to provide data assets that support business insights and performance measurement; work independently as well as collaboratively with leadership and cross functional teams in developing business intelligence and analytic assets; work with large healthcare datasets such as medical claims and clinical data; deliver reporting and analytics data solutions in an efficient and scalable manner; utilize subject-matter expertise as well as exceptional analytic and consulting skills with a customer service focus to design and deliver data products that meet or exceed customer expectations; use strong SQL and other programming skills to create data models and views for reporting needs; develop project-specific documentation including but not limited to requirements documentation and high-level business logic; automate processes; data warehouse design keeping end-goal reporting in mind; design dashboards reports and other internal and external-facing deliverables; follow companys best practices in data validation and analytic quality control; act as a mentor to junior staff.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems Computer Science Health Informatics or a related field; four (4) years of experience in a development role; experience in ETL development; strong SQL skills and familiarity with analytic languages (DAX); experience with both columnar and tabular data models; experience with dimensional data warehouse design concepts; expertise in data warehousing and modeling principles and systems; experience with the Common Data Model a plus; experience with Azure framework. May work remotely from a home office location but must live within normal commuting distance of the Nashville TN office.
HOURS: Full-Time 40 hours per week M-F
