Background
At Axis New Business Audio Products we develop audio products for security such as horn- ceiling- and cabinet- speakers driven by Power over Ethernet (PoE). To ensure that our products dont interfere with the surroundings we have to take electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) into consideration. This is a complex area that we can always improve on.
Goal
The goal of the thesis is to do an analysis of a power board with an EMC perspective and devise ideas on how to improve the EMC performance. This could be done both in theory and simulations but also by modifying the power board (layout and schematics) and conducting tests in the EMC chamber.
