Job Description
Saratoga Medical is hiring an Emerging Pathogen Medical Technologists in Palo Alto CA. Package includes competitive rate paid time off and benefit options.
Saratoga Medical has an exciting opportunity for an Emerging Pathogen Medical Technologists at Palo Alto CA. This is a great full-time opportunity. Please see qualifications below and submit your resume if you are interested in being considered:
Performance Work Statement (PWS)
- Provide services for VA PHNPO National Public Health Reference Laboratory (PHRL)
- Perform high complexity molecular testing (whole genome sequencing RT-PCR MLST antibody/antigen testing)
- Support outbreak investigations & national biodefense strategy
- Evaluate/prep specimens conduct quality control troubleshoot assays
- Maintain Lab Information Management (LIM) connectivity for all 150 VA medical centers.
Qualifications
- MT/CLS Certification (ASCP-BOR)
- B.S. in Biological Sciences-related field
- 25 years lab experience (esp. molecular assays)
- Knowledge of lab equipment troubleshooting and repair
- Ability to analyze/interpret results independently
- English proficiency
