Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design install and maintain Linux-based systems and servers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with software developers to establish and maintain development and production environments.
- Implement security measures and data protection protocols for handling sensitive information.
- Monitor system performance and optimize resources for maximum efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to system configurations and procedures.
- Support patches updates and backups to ensure systems are running smoothly.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to Linux systems.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Linux Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g. Ubuntu CentOS) and shell scripting.
- Experience with system monitoring tools and security practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
