Job Description: Laundry/Cleaner
Job Summary
The Laundry/Cleaner is responsible for ensuring that all linens towels and other laundry items are cleaned and sanitized according to company standards. This position also includes general cleaning duties throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort and wash all linens towels and other laundry items
- Dry and fold all laundry items
- Ensure that all laundry items are properly sanitized
- Assist with general cleaning duties throughout the facility
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to management
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and interpersonalcommunication skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)and ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to handle emergency and stressful situations like resolving customer conflicts
- Ability to make quick decisions
- Ability to create a positive and welcoming customer experience
