Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach 4 sections of Upper School Spanish: Spanish 1 Spanish 3 (2 sections) and Spanish 5
- Take a friendly and collaborative approach to teaching in order to create an inclusive environment for all students
- In addition to direct teaching responsibilities potentially serve as an Upper School Advisor
- Actively participate in additional Upper School activities such as student clubs and committees
- Consult with the Director of City Curriculum to cultivate relationships with city institutions to enhance their coursework
- Experience teaching upper school grades preferred
- Fluent in Spanish with experience teaching literature and culture of the Spanish-speaking world to second language learners of Spanish
- A commitment to social justice anti-racism and Quaker values
- Experience and proficiency with online learning tools
- Bachelors degree required Masters degree preferred
