Skills & Competencies:
- 510 years of experience in relationship management partnership development or sales collaboration within the business information industry.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and geographies.
- Analytical mindset with commercial acumen and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in contract review and negotiation processes.
- Familiarity with various data types (e.g. company financial news alternative data) and their business applications.
- Understanding of market trends in data acquisition partnerships and AI-driven solutions.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Business Economics Data Science or a related field is required. A Masters degree or relevant professional certification (e.g. CIPP CDMP) is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Execute strategic initiatives for acquiring and managing data from a diverse network of information providers (IPs).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with IPs exploring partnership and collaboration opportunities.
- Lead negotiations for data license agreements with new and existing providers.
- Support proactive risk management to ensure continuity of data supply.
- Monitor global and regional market trends to inform sourcing strategies and identify emerging opportunities.
- Conduct landscape analysis of IPs aligned with Moodys evolving business needs.
- Contribute to build-vs-buy evaluations to identify optimal data sources for specific use cases.
- Manage IP onboarding processes including due diligence and vendor management activities.
