Our ServiceNow Advisory Consultants will work on innovation capability focused on outcomes and dedicated to making the future happen for our clients. Our aim is to open the door to discuss digital footprints and the impacts that it will cause to the operating model platform strategies business interactions and operations.
We invest in identified themes & bring in right ServiceNow team to take these quick wins to MVP & scale through our quarterly capability releases. Our goal to become a lighthouse technology partner will help establish value stream on business outcomes & deliver continuous business value.
Strong ServiceNow knowledge combined with strong business consulting skills that can be used to understand customer ambitions and position DXC ServiceNow solutions will be key to be successful in this role.
What does the job involve
Implement a rigorous and structured methodology to identify and resolve complex technology business challenges
Pinpoint and prioritize value creation opportunities at the nexus of business and technology informed by assessment activities and an understanding of overarching visions performance gaps and needs.
Independently lead strategic engagements or work streams end-to-end encompassing all delivery components: client satisfaction value delivery team management etc.
Identify and cultivate follow-on business opportunities supporting business development efforts with clients and DXC teams until successful sale closure.
Collaborate with clients and within DXC to synchronize their business and technology priorities.
Develop and disseminate content knowledge through proactive involvement in technology strategy operations and communities of practice.
Lead the creation of well-articulated thought leadership assets that provide innovative insights knowledge guidance and recommendations on specific market-relevant technology strategy domains.
Engage with senior management at clients and/or DXC to guide recommendations and secure buy-in on matters that may require alternative approaches.
What do I need to succeed
Data-Driven Consulting: Expertise in business and technology value architecting and realization.
Independent Decision-Making: Ability to determine methods and procedures on assignments autonomously.
Team Management: Proven experience in managing team efforts at client sites or within DXC.
Business Development: Capability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
Core Technology Strategy: In-depth understanding of IT & Digital technology strategy with a key aspect of how enterprise architecture operating models data & analytics and cloud solutions interact with ServiceNow solutions.
Technology Advisory & Implementation: Extensive experience in providing technology advisory services and implementing ServiceNow solutions.
Cross-Industry Expertise: Ability to operate across various industries with preferred experience in Banking Insurance Manufacturing and Government sectors.
Business Acumen: Proactively acquired business knowledge beyond technical roles
Typical Proficiencies
Proven and relevant past consulting experience; alternatively strong in-house IT & Digital strategy / enterprise architecture division / advanced startup / pre-sales roles (and demonstration of intrinsic consulting skills)
Strong communication skills to communicate with customers support personnel and management
Strong creative thinking problem solving planning time-management and organization skills to balance and prioritize work
Strong human relations skills to select develop mentor discipline and reward employees
Ability to create and maintain formal and informal networks
Ability to lead and work in a team environment
To be able to provide a credible demonstration of ServiceNow
Willingness to travel
You will need to have the ability to work from home and to travel to client locations for meetings and workshops or work on client sites for periods where required.
