Performs front-line day-to-daystaff and facility oversight at any of the following locations:
H2OBrien PoolConcessions/Front Desk
Discovery Park Ice Trail
Salisbury Park Concessions
Performs basic cash handling duties. Adheres to the Town of Parker Cash Handling Policy & Procedure.
Responsible for Concessions/Front Desk opening and closing procedures to include daily cash counting credit card and check reconciliation.
Responsible for the safe clean and efficientfront desk and concessionoperationsof aseasonal Recreation Facilityduring the assigned shift.
Provides excellent customer service. Utilizes resources to effectively serve customers and remedy complaints or conflicts in a professional manner.
Supervises part-timefrontlineemployees during the assigned shift. Assists Recreation Coordinators I or II with hiring evaluating performance training disciplinary procedures and employee recognition.
Educates and ensures adherence to policies andprocedures.Establishes andmaintainspositive working relationships with internal and external customers.
Responds to emergency situations providesappropriate care and completes necessary reports and communication.
Assistswith the completion of shift-based facility maintenance inspection and cleaning checklists.
Ensures assigned facility venues and building equipment is in proper working order tomaintainsafe conditions for patrons and staff.
Adheres to effective safety and risk management practices andHealthDepartmentStandards;assiststhe Recreation Coordinator I or II with enforcing departmental policies and emergency response procedures.
Conducts routine site walkthroughs identifying and remedying realized or potential safetymaintenancecleanlinessor inventoryconcerns. Reports findings to supervisor.
Oversees andparticipatesin setup teardown and cleanup of various programs activities rentals andspecial events.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
The requirements listed below are representative of the education experiencecertificationand/or licensure. An equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the essential duties and meet the necessary employment standards may be considered.
Must beat least eighteen (18)years of age.
Requires a highschooldiploma or GED equivalent.
Two(2) yearsof experience in customer service recreation programming or relatedfieldpreferred.
Supervisoryor lead workerexperiencepreferred.
Minimum Additional Qualifications H2OBrien Pool Concessions/Salisbury Park Concessions MOD:
Possession of or the ability to obtain CPR First Aid and AED certification within ninety (90) days of hire.
One (1) year of experience in a food service management rolepreferred.
One (1) year of experience in a customer service management rolepreferred.
Minimum Additional Qualifications Discovery Park Ice Trail MOD:
Possession of or the ability to obtain CPR First Aid and AED certification within ninety (90) days of hire.
Completion of concussion recognition training within ninety (90) days of hire; must be renewed annually.
One (1) year of experience in a customer service management role.

Ability to concentrate on detail.
Ability to work irregular hours including evenings weekends and holidays.

Tools & Equipment
Requires frequent use of general office equipment recreational equipment (i.e. aquaticsequipment lifesaving equipment pool equipment ice maintenance equipment and/orconcession supplies).
Physical Demands
Requires regular sitting standing walking talking handling feeling or operating objects stooping kneeling crouching or crawling. Requires occasionalreaching with hands and arms climbing and balancing. Requires moderate physical activity with heavy lifting up to fifty (50) pounds. Requires close and distance vision acuity and the ability to adjust focus allowing a broad field of vision.
Environment
Workis performed in bothclimate-controlledoffices andopen-airenvironments employees holding this position may be exposed to extreme cold or heat and wetness/humidity. The noise level isusually highand may range from moderate to extreme.The employee may occasionally work with or around hazardous items or hazardous conditions such as mechanical equipment electrical equipment chemicals or radiant energy.
