Make a difference as Global Manager Compliance & Corporate Affairs
Establish manage and maintain effective corporate governance structures inter- company agreements identify liability risks and optimize our growing company our current ways of working and organizational setup are constantly being reviewed and optimized. You also play a crucial role in acquisitions.
Drive further development and implementation of the global compliance program to ensure adherence to relevant regulations across the Enza Zaden group and perform SpeakUp investigations if needed.
Further build and shape the team and encourage and support the growth of your team.
With your hands-on mentality you draft negotiate review and adjust agreements related to corporate and compliance matters. Provide expert advice on legal risks and solutions to support organizational growth.
About the Team
You will be part of a dynamic and inspiring team that values collaboration and innovation and work together from different legal perspectives in order to achieve its common goal: the implementation of a solid legal structure throughout the organization. Reporting to the General Counsel you will work closely with board members senior management and relevant Committees (Risk Advisory Committee and Integrity Committee). What you bring as a future colleague
Masters degree in law
Experience: 12 years in legal compliance and corporate governance in an international environment.
Leadership Skills: Proven leadership capabilities and people skills with cultural awareness.
Influencing Skills: Persuasiveness and influencing skills towards BoD and senior management.
Cultural awareness: Given our global footprint cultural awareness and cross-cultural collaboration experience are highly valued.
Team player: you enjoy collaborating with the business and your colleagues in the legal department.
In addition to these skills we value a positive attitude and willingness to learn if you have less experience in some areas. Your ability to collaborate with diverse teams across the globe and your passion for your expertise will be key to your success in this role.
