We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Test Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and executing performance and load tests for our web and mobile applications. You will identify performance bottlenecks and work closely with development DevOps and product teams to optimize system performance and ensure scalability and reliability.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Test Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and executing performance and load tests for our web and mobile applications. You will identify performance bottlenecks and work closely with development DevOps and product teams to optimize system performance and ensure scalability and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and execute performance load stress soak and scalability test scenarios.
- Analyze test results and identify performance bottlenecks memory leaks and system limitations.
- Work closely with developers and DevOps to optimize application performance.
- Create and maintain performance test plans scripts and reports.
- Use tools such as JMeter LoadRunner Gatling BlazeMeter or similar.
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend performance improvements.
- Establish performance benchmarks and help in capacity planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand performance requirements and SLAs.
- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
- Document test strategies and test results for stakeholder consumption.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in performance testing.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (e.g. Apache JMeter LoadRunner Gatling BlazeMeter).
- Solid understanding of performance testing concepts: throughput latency concurrency transactions per second etc.
- Experience in testing web-based and API-based applications.
- Strong knowledge of HTTP protocols system architecture databases and server performance tuning.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Java Python Shell) for test automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins Git Docker etc.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- ISTQB Performance Testing Certification (optional but preferred).
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing and monitoring tools (e.g. AWS CloudWatch Azure Monitor).
- Experience in agile development environments.
