Job Summary
Reports to:
Litigation Partner
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ability to draft cause papers for construction disputes whether through Court proceedings CIPA proceedings or arbitration
- Liaise with clients and handle complex construction disputes with moderate supervision
- Advise clients concerning business transactions claim liability advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits or legal rights and obligations based on Malaysian laws and regulations
- Prepare necessary documentations and reports.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical skills with minimum upper 2nd class law degree from a well regarded university
- 2 - 3 years post admission experience
- Construction disputes experience is needed
- Experience in a top tier environment will be well regarded by not essential
- Ability to identify issues and possession of sound judgment are essential
- Committed and driven with strong sense of accountability
- Outgoing personality and leadership qualities
- Team player
- Willing to travel
