Job Description

Reports to:

Litigation Partner

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ability to draft cause papers for construction disputes whether through Court proceedings CIPA proceedings or arbitration
  • Liaise with clients and handle complex construction disputes with moderate supervision
  • Advise clients concerning business transactions claim liability advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits or legal rights and obligations based on Malaysian laws and regulations
  • Prepare necessary documentations and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Strong technical skills with minimum upper 2nd class law degree from a well regarded university
  • 2 - 3 years post admission experience
  • Construction disputes experience is needed
  • Experience in a top tier environment will be well regarded by not essential
  • Ability to identify issues and possession of sound judgment are essential
  • Committed and driven with strong sense of accountability
  • Outgoing personality and leadership qualities
  • Team player
  • Willing to travel
