Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee the implementation of electrical systems tailored for data centres ensuring reliability and efficiency.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of power loads and efficiency to facilitate optimal electrical designs.
- Utilize CAD software to create precise electrical design drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with diverse teams including architects contractors and project managers to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to timelines.
- Perform site evaluations and inspections to assess electrical requirements and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Lead the supervision of electrical installations and testing ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies in electrical systems especially in relation to data centres and MNC requirements.
- Offer technical support and guidance to project teams and clients throughout all project phases.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering specifically within data centres or contractor environments.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other electrical design tools.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems including transformers switchgear UPS and lighting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for effective collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
