Job Summary
Startup Scout Intern
Were looking for a high-potential and ambitious student to join our team as a Startup Scout Intern. Youll work in our dedicated Scouting Team (part of TNW Programs) to optimize and execute our startup sourcing strategy. Youll dive deep into the world of the newest technologies and business models learning how to assess their commercial potential and quality.

About the role
Learn firsthand about whats happening now and in the future of technology on a global level by scouting and researching the latest innovations in tech
Speak to innovative startup founders from all over the world
Extract emerging startups and data from emerging startup databases social media platforms events conferences and other parts of the startup ecosystems for startups that fit our programs
Rate startups based on each programs criteria
Gain experience in creating visual consultancy decks and support in the presentation to our innovative clients
Work together with your team to establish the structural flow of information and a clear protocol for sourcing startups
Set up an efficient system for capturing incoming startup-related data
Create tactics and templates for reaching out to startups
Identify new scouting platforms & keep up-to-date information on those platforms
About you
Registered as a student during the internship or recently graduated
Available for at least five months in Amsterdam (preferably 6 months) starting in July/ August for a full-time internship (35-40 hours per week)
A special interest and/or experience in innovation/technology/startups
A ton of enthusiasm for TNWs mission in supporting the best startups
Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus!)
Able to work with data

About the application procedure

- Beforehand: respond to the vacancy including your CV motivation and education.
- Equalture: After submitting your application you will be asked to complete a game-based assessment.
- Round 1: a conversation with TNW Programs employee.
- Round 2: a short assignment (2/3 hours) to test your scouting skills and for you to see what the job entails
- Round 3: if necessary a second conversation with a manager from TNW Programs.
