Job Description
Innotec a high-growth unique and fully automated manufacturer of automotive furniture and appliance components is selectively seeking an experienced hands-on Engineer. Innotec has become known for our innovation and ability to provide low cost high quality products to our customers. We currently have several divisions including businesses in the United States Europe China and Mexico. Our ever-expanding capabilities as a supplier combined with our genuine small company feel make Innotec the ideal place for people looking to make the most of their our operations base in Budars we are looking for someone with the following characteristics and qualifications:
Characteristics:
Desire to work in a team-based atmosphere
Good communication skills
Demonstrated success with product or process innovations and improvement along with a perpetual drive toward learning
Proven self-directed project management skills while consistently hitting deadlines
Launch experience in automotive industry familiarity with PPAP process and APQP
Familiarity with many different aspects of the manufacturing process i.e. product/machine design and build launch quoting price negotiation customer interaction etc
IATF 16949 familiarity is an advantage
Ability and willingness to work up to 70% of time on the floor to help determine and correct issues improve processes
Willingness to support and to participate in production activities
Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree in Engineering (Masters degree is a plus)
5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting
Automotive industry specific experience is a requirement
Ability to read write speak and understand English at an independent level
Proven leadership ability
Project management skills and familiarity with project management tools to effectively supervise more complex projects
Ability to launch and lead $20k-$100k projects
