What are we looking for
Were growing several of our teams and are looking for talented software engineers with experience in the Linux and/or Cloud Security domain. As our new colleague you should be able to explore new technologies design and develop innovative ideas from scratch and drive new capabilities and infrastructure at scale for our products.
What will you do
Your role will include end-to-end responsibility for new agent capabilities starting with researching the landscape of new Linux-/Cloud-related security technologies designing event tracing strategies and algorithms and delivering them at scale. You could work across low-level Kernel hooks to complicated user-space engines & cybersecurity/anti-malware capabilities to to product infrastructures to Cloud and Kubernetes security-related features as well as pure system engineering challenges.
Your deliveries will enhance the security of different Linux and Cloud Workloads platforms protected by our product which serves thousands of users (from enterprise and public sector clients across the globe including some of the largest companies globally).
Your duties:
- Software Development (70-80% of time) - we use C23 occasionally also Rust and/or Go
- Write tests to cover new code
- Conduct low-level research and design new features
- Peer code reviews; Participate in the teams design reviews
- Teamwork
- Learn new technologies in the Linux and Cloud workloads security domains (e.g. eBPF)
- Architect end-to-end security solutions for complex features with loose problem definition
- Support customers with issues and requests within the teams domain
- Attend daily and weekly scrum meetings
What skills & knowledge should you bring
- Multiple years of experience as a software engineer developing complex systems in modern C (or in C and willingness to switch to C)
- Proficient in Linux OS architecture and internals
- Hands-on experience with Linux low-level development and debugging
- Previous experience working on a production-grade product with a wide-scale deployment
Itd be great if you have experience with / or youd learn & gain on our team:
- Hands-on experience with Linux kernel development or kernel tracing
- Previous experience with eBPFLinux networking subsystemsecurity-oriented development
- Hands-on experience with container platforms and orchestrators such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Previous experience with software development in either Rust and/or Go (we have several components in both) or Python
