About the opportunity
As an integral part of the we can do that operation this position is responsible for lot maintenance parking control and vehicle arrangement. Specifically:
- Greet all customers promptly and professionally as they arrive in the service drive-through.
- Direct customers to the appropriate service advisor or waiting area.
- Check in vehicles using an iPad/tablet including verifying appointment details mileage and VIN.
- Perform vehicle condition inspections at check-in including tire tread and pressure windshield and wiper condition and noting any dents scratches or other visible damage.
- Safely move park and retrieve customer vehicles as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service drive-through area.
- Assist with installation/removal of protective coverings (seat steering wheel floor mats) to ensure vehicle cleanliness.
- Support service advisors with customer flow management during peak times.
- Provide courtesy services such as topping up windshield washer fluid tire pressure checks and light bulb inspections (as directed).
- Deliver exceptional customer service that aligns with Mercedes-Benz brand standards.
- Ensure safe handling of all vehicles following dealership and manufacturer guidelines.
- Assist with shuttle coordination customer drop-offs/pick-ups and loaner vehicle exchanges as needed.
- Communicate effectively with the service team to ensure smooth operations.
About you.
Ideal candidates will have a background and experience as follows:
- 1 to 3 years of previous vehicle parking; dealership experience preferred
- Secondary School diploma or equivalent experience
- ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- valid Drivers License and clean Drivers Abstract
- strong attention to detail organized and strategic
- ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- ability to adapt to a changing environment
- ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
- ability to maintain professionalism
