Growing up in British Columbia thefamily Root Cellar was a place in our homes where we could always find goodquality garden-grown fresh & preserved foods. Our family-ownedmarket operates with a local focus always buying from as close to home aspossible to provide the communities of Victoria with the same.
We are more than your average grocerystore and it is our aim for our teams experience here to be anything butaverage too. Were a family business and wereselective about who joins us. Our bottom line is that we care a lot about theproducts we offer our customers and our Root Cellar family. You can feel thecare put into action when you step through our doors Team Members andCustomers alike.
WHATYOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- The ability to work avariety of shifts including early mornings (6:00am) evenings (until 10:00pm)and weekends.
- The ability to performrepetitive tasks stand for long periods of time work in a cool environmentand lift up to 50lbs.
- The ability to multi-taskand work efficiently in a busy environment.
- The ability to work wellwithin a team.
- Previous retail/customerservice experience is an asset but we are willing to train the right personwith the right attitude!
