In this positionyouwill work alongside a dedicated team of investigators and support staff taking the lead on inquiries and formal investigations involving student and employee complaints related to discrimination harassment and civil rights violations.Youwill be the driving force behind programs and policies that promote accessibility prevent discrimination and sexual misconduct and support a culture of respect across campus.
In this role you will:
Conducting investigationsindependently and preparing clear thorough reports of findings.
Developing and refining policies and programsthat address discrimination harassment and sexual misconduct.
Educating and empowering othersby coordinating and delivering University-wide training and outreach.
Serving as a resourcefor students and employees helping them understand and navigate University policies.
Collaborating across campusby participating in committees and initiatives that support human rights and equity.

Additional Information:
This is a full time (100% FTE) permanent position. Overtime eligibility will be determined based on final placement in the salary range.
Monthly Salary: $4942 - $7567 Commensurate with experience and qualifications
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position. Required Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree in a field relevant to area of specialization and three (3) years of experience directly related to the specialty area. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis. Possession of a Law degree or Masters degree in a relevant field (human resources management education etc.) may be substituted for one year of the experience requirement.
Experience conducting administrative or legal investigations or similar experience fact finding and/or assessing complex matters.
Demonstrated conflict resolution skills.
Experience writing detailed reports carefully analyzing information reviewing and processing detailed documents handling confidential issues and giving presentations.
Demonstrated knowledge in applying and interpreting federal and state laws regulations and rules in the workplace.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Law degree or Masters degree in a relevant field (human resources management education etc.)
Knowledge of Title IX regulation and requirements.
Knowledge of ADA laws and requirements.
Knowledge of EEO laws and requirements.
Experience working in higher education.
Fluency in a second language.
Working knowledge of WSU administrative environment.
