Description
GCIs Performance Assessment Analyst will develop and implement performance metrics and assessment tools to evaluate the effectiveness of project and program management across the organization. Play a critical role in driving strategic decision-making by analyzing performance data generating insightful reports and recommending actionable improvements.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AT ALL LEVELS:

Performance Measurement & Evaluation

  • Oversee the end-to-end performance evaluation process for projects and programs.
  • Guide the development and integration of best practices and lessons learned across teams.
  • Lead the design and implement performance metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for projects and programs.
  • Develop assessment tools and methodologies that are user-friendly and accessible.
  • Conduct evaluations to assess alignment with strategic goals and identify issues.
  • Ensure project close-out controls are completed accurately and timely.
  • Capture and share lessons learned and best practices to improve future outcomes.
  • Enforce compliance with established evaluation standards and organizational policies.
  • Identify and flag evaluation processes that do not meet compliance or quality standards.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Manage the reporting and analysis of performance data to inform strategic decisions and enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Collect analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends patterns and improvement areas.
  • Use statistical techniques and visualization tools to present findings.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Track KPI achievement including:
  • % of projects evaluated for KPIs met
  • % achievement of strategic goals
  • Utilization rate of best practices

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Engage with cross-functional teams to align performance processes with organizational goals and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with PMO Program Management Office DA team SMO and CTO teams on KPI development data collection and evaluation.
  • Feed insights to Standards and Training teams to improve frameworks and education.

Continuous Improvement & Support

  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and innovations in performance measurement and project management to ensure practices remain current and effective.
  • Shape organizational strategies for continuous improvement based on performance insights.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities based on performance findings.
  • Facilitate action planning with stakeholders to enhance outcomes.
  • Provide training and support on tools and metrics interpretation.
  • Act as a resource for performance management best practices.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate accurate information to others.
    • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate quantitative information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Ability to articulate information in presentation/training format in front of internal and external audiences.
    • Proactive approach to identifying issues and developing creative data-driven solutions.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect organize and analyze large volumes of datausing various techniques and software.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities with varying deadlines.
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and reliable reports.
    • Deep understanding of business operations financial concepts and industry-specific metrics.
    • Demonstrated ability to evaluate complex challenging problems and situations leading to optimal solutions.
    • Self-directed and goal-oriented with a strong ability to assess workload establish strategic priorities and execute against measurable objectives.
    • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in data visualization tools reporting software and analytical software (e.g. Excel Tableau Power BI).

  • TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY - Proficient computer skills and MS Office knowledge (e.g. Outlook Teams Word Excel) to complete job duties effectively.

Additional Job Requirements:

This is an intermediate level position within the discipline demonstrating broad knowledge and proficiency in areas of responsibility. Performs moderately complex tasks and job duties receiving general instruction on routine work and new assignments. Works under moderate supervision with latitude for independent judgment. Supports higher level staff in implementing more complex projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required: *A combination of relevant work experience and/or education sufficient to perform the duties of the job may substitute to meet the total years required on a year-for-year basis

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Project Management Data Analysis or related field. *
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience inperformance assessment business or data analysis program evaluation project management or a related field.*

Preferred:

  • Masters degree or MBA.
  • Telecommunications experience.
  • Relevant telecom industry or job specific certifications.
  • Experience in developing performance metrics and assessment tools.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall) and best practices.

DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:

  • This position requires driving a company-owned vehicle company provided vehicle or a personal vehicle on behalf of the company. Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license proof of insurance a satisfactory driving record and successfully complete Defensive Driving course.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS and WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Work is conducted across various environments including office settings remote locations and client sites.
  • Interactions with dissatisfied customers vendors or employees may occasionally occur requiring effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Regular travel is required for business and training purposes including activities such as scoping requirements gathering testing and business development.
  • Training delivery involves in-person and virtual sessions necessitating schedule flexibility to accommodate participants across multiple time zones.
  • Work is primarily sedentary requiring daily routine computer usage.
  • Ability to work shifts as assigned work in standard office/home office setting and operate standard office equipment.
  • Ability to accurately communicate information and ideas to others effectively.
  • Physical agility and effort sufficient to perform job duties safely and effectively.
  • Ability to make valid judgments and decisions.
  • Available to work additional time on weekends holidays before or after normal work hours when necessary.
  • Must work well in a team environment and be able to work with a diverse group of people and customers.
  • Virtual workers must comply with remote work policies and agreements.

Due to business needs employees may be contacted outside of the core business hours to respond to the immediate emergency.
