BASIC FUNCTION:
Under the general direction of the assigned department or division head the Instructional Coordinator assigned to support Early Childhood Special Education Inclusive Early Expansion Program (IEEEP) Grant will coordinate and provide leadership and direction to site administrators and school teams in one or more areas of curriculum and/ or compliance; evaluate and supervise the work of assigned certificated and classified staff.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education inclusive practices and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). They will demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with district departments and local state and national partners to support the Inclusive Early Education Expansion Program (IEEEP) Grant. The candidate will be committed to equity inclusion and collaboration with a passion for creating developmentally appropriate supportive and accessible early learning environments where every child can thrive.

- Coordinate and provide leadership and direction to site administrators and school teams in one or more areas of curriculum and/ or compliance. E
- Provide support to site administrators in order to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations as well as District policy and procedure; assist with audits. E
- Assist in the coordination and evaluation of coaching cycles and professional development offered by the assigned department or division; recommend teaching techniques and the use of different and/ or new technologies. E
- Lead assigned curriculum development projects and lead the implementation of new and/or revised curriculum based on state standards. E
- Plan organize and conduct teacher and site administrator professional development. E
- Assist in the formulation and development of policies procedures and programs for the assigned department or division. E
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of a variety of narrative and statistical reports records and files related to assigned activities and personnel; participate on district committees. E
- Assist site administrators and school teams evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum and/ or teaching techniques; conduct observations and research gather and evaluate data to provide support and feedback. E
- Communicate with other administrators personnel and outside organizations to coordinate activities and programs resolve issues and conflicts and exchange information; develop procedures to encourage effective and efficient management controls within assigned area. E

In addition to the job duties listed above in support of the Inclusive Early Education Expansion Program the incumbent will be expected to perform any combination of the duties listed below:
- Overseethe Districtwide implementation of the Inclusive Early Education Expansion Grant ensuring alignment with District goals compliance with California Department of Education (CDE) requirements and integration with related initiatives.
- Lead the rollout and fidelity monitoring of the Pyramid Model as an early Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) to promote social-emotional competence in children incorporating Early Childhood Technical Assistance Center (ECTAC) inclusive practices to support equitable developmentally appropriate and least restrictive learning environments.
- Collaborate with site and district administrators to expand and sustain high-quality inclusive programs across multiple sites.
- Assist in the design implementation and oversight of practice-based coaching systems for early childhood educators related service providers and site leaders.
- Plan and deliver job-embedded professional learning tailored to site needs District priorities and evidence-based inclusive practices.
- Provide coaching and consultation to site leaders to strengthen systemic implementation of inclusive early learning.
- May travel to school sites professional development workshops and meetings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
Any combination of training experience and/or education equivalent to a Masters degree and seven (7) years of TK- 12 teaching experience.
Licenses and Other Requirements:
Valid California Administrative Services Credential.
