Job Description
Our client is a leading player in telecommunications network and infrastructure. As part of
its ongoing business it is seeking to employ an experienced professional to join them as
Associate Legal Counsel (Ref: KHXXX)
The successful candidate will provide legal support to the Legal & Secretariat Department
and will report to the Counsel.
Responsibilities:
Draft review and vet contracts agreements and other legal documents including in
a regulated environment
Handle legal disputes and contentious case management
Transactional experience to support business units as well as corporate financing
investment and divestment
Liaise with external lawyers
Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure polices and corporate
governance principles are adhered to
Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Requirements:
Degree in Law preferably admitted as Advocate and Solicitor in Singapore
3 to 4 years Post Qualified Experience
Experience working in a regulated industry especially in drafting / reviewing
regulated contracts is a plus. Candidates in private practice who have spent
substantial time advising clients in regulated industries and assisting in the
preparation of regulated contracts will also be considered.
Experience working with IT / Construction contracts is also a plus.
Familiarity with Telecom / IT industry will be an advantage
Ability to review and advise in timely manner on salient issues with attention to
details
IT Office skillset
Good time and project management skills
