About your workplace
The Commercial Excellence Consultant plays a crucial role in accelerating Mieles B2B business with a focus on kitchen specialist and electronic retail channels including the respective E-commerce businesses.
As the link between global sales strategy and local implementation the Commercial Excellence Consultant ensures a solid fact base and efficient roll-out of innovative sales concepts while safeguarding profitability and operational excellence. With strong analytical skills and an entrepreneurial spirit the Commercial Excellence Consultant identifies sales and margin improvement opportunities and works closely with local Sales Directors and their teams to reach their full potential. Whether performing channel or customer profitability analyses identifying optimization potential of promotions or working with the given Trade Partner condition system the Commercial Excellence Consultant aims to generate positive business impact and establish a leading B2B commercial system. He will support the performance management of the ongoing RGM program by analyzing metrics identifying operational improvements and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and profitability. He will also be taking on local projects onsite.
Job description
- Support the translation of global sales strategies into regional and local implementation plans ensuring effective adaptation to market conditions
- Perform channel and customer profitability analysis to identify profitability improvement levers support implementation on the markets
- Perform pricing and promotion analyses
- Track KPIs to meet profitability goals across markets channels and accounts.
- Support steering of the ongoing RGM program e.g. pricing and ranging optimization promotional effectiveness to improve performance and reach agreed targets
- Work closely with central sales RGM and market teams including Sales Marketing Finance and Commercial Planning and Steering.
Your profile
- Excellent academic background in business administration or engineering with more than three years working experience in a leading strategy consultancy or global Marketing Sales role in a multi-national consumer goods or retail company
- Strong analytical strengths and business judgement
- Pragmatism self-driven working style entrepreneurial style that raises performance standards.
- Excellent communication and intercultural skills
- Preferrable: Track record in delivering B2B / D2C / omnichannel growth strategies across markets RGM expertise (Pricing Promotions Channel profitability POS-Performance etc.)
