Job Title: Physician Assistant Urgent Care
Location: Brooklyn NY
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
About the Opportunity:
We are seeking experienced and motivated Physician Assistants (PAs) to join a growing Urgent Care network across Brooklyn NY. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a large reputable healthcare group that provides high-quality patient-centered care in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting for patients of all ages
Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations including history physical exams and diagnostic testing
Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and minor injuries
Order and interpret diagnostic studies such as labs imaging and EKGs
Perform common urgent care procedures (suturing I&D splinting wound care etc.)
Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments
Collaborate with physicians nurses and support staff to deliver efficient quality care
Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis treatment plans and preventive health measures
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the EMR system
Qualifications:
Board Certified / Board Eligible Physician Assistant (PA-C)
Active or eligible New York State license
Prior Urgent Care Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine experience strongly preferred
Ability to manage high patient volumes and work independently with confidence
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Bilingual skills (e.g. Spanish) a plus but not required
