Job Description
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to help us develop new business opportunities by building relationships with potential server application customers. Business Development Manager responsibilities include prospecting developing customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction. You should be able to meet with potential clients and trade show attendees and offer support for the latest products and services. Ultimately the Business Development Manager should ensure the continued growth of our business by developing long-term sustainable relationships with customers.
Responsibilities
- Prospect for new business opportunities
- Meet with prospective clients face-to-face in a sales environment to present or provide support for products and services
- Build long-term relationships with existing customers through cold calling emailing networking and referrals
- Monitor market conditions and adjust product/service offerings to meet customer needs
- Maintain records of all sales activity; prepare reports and monitor the status of accounts
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with products and services
- Provide technical support for current customers via phone or email (as needed)
- Coordinate with Production Manager regarding production issues/problems
- Provide feedback to management on product/service issues/options etc.
- Follow up with Production Manager regarding production issues/problems
- Keep abreast of emerging market conditions/technological trends/business requirements/sales opportunities/products/services/marketplaces/customers etc.
- Assist in developing new business opportunities within the companys territory (e.g. cold calling networking referral generation)
Experience:
- 3 years of sales experience in thermal solutions or related industries
