Requests are subject to manager approval. Cabell Huntington is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech. This individual will perform duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures in the application of radionuclides for the diagnosis and treatment of disease in patients. Supervises technologist and ancillary personnel assigned. This position requires comprehensive understanding of related technology independent judgment ingenuity and initiative. Requirements: Siemens experience Philips and GE experience cardiac Bachelor degree preferred. Graduate of an approved JRCERT program for Radiologic Technology and/or Nuclear Medicine. Holder of a valid and current: 1. Registration by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) 2. Licensed as required by the West Virginia State Board of Radiology Previous work experience in clinical nuclear medicine desired. Uses a variety of radiation detection measuring and recording devices and mechanical accessories. Uses a variety of radiation shielding materials and devices. Uses a variety of computers M-F 0800-1630 Call: every 4-5 weeks. Our call consists mainly of cardiac stress tests on the weekend mornings.
