Mary Rutan Hospital a well-established and community-focused healthcare organization located in Bellefontaine Ohio is actively seeking a full-time Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician to join its dynamic medical team. Job Description:
As an OB/GYN Physician at Mary Rutan Hospital you will:
- Work a 4-day clinical schedule with 1 administrative day (can be done from home)
- Desired Start Date: July/August 2026
- Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care
- Perform surgical procedures including cesarean sections and gynecologic surgeries
- Attend deliveries (average one per day; approx. 360 births/year)
- Participate in a 1:4 call rotation (weekday and weekend)
- Travel between multiple clinic locations (as needed)
- Use Meditech Expanse EMR for documentation and patient management
- Collaborate with other physicians APPs nursing staff and ancillary services
- Contribute to maintaining a safe efficient and patient-centered environment
- Must report to hospital within 30 minutes when on call.
- Not accepting candidates who have lapsed Board Certification and need to obtain again
- Accepting new graduate candidates - TRULY Board Eligible and working toward Board Certification. within 1 year in advance of graduation.
- Must become Board Certified within a required timeframe after starting the position.

Requirement description : ALL OF THE FOLLOWING SHOULD BE NOTED IN ADDITIONAL SUBMISSION DETAILS. REQUIRED PRIOR TO CLIENT PRESENTATION UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED
- TRULY Board Eligible (within 1 year of graduation) or Board Certified in Pediatrics - REQUIRED
- ABOG or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency REQUIRED
- OH license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- DEA (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice/licensure history preferred HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Must be able to report to hospital within 30 minutes when on call REQUIRED
- Does the provider require visa support - J1 or H1B (note in Additional Submission Details field) - REQUIRED
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- NRP
- DEA
STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
- Ohio
ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in OB/GYN (ABOG or AOA-accredited residency) Will consider lapsed board certifications on a case-by-case basis and New graduates within 1 year of completion considered; must obtain board certification post-training
Weekend Requirements : 1:4 weekend call; includes OB/GYN responsibilities with average of one delivery per day
On Call Requirements : 1:4 call schedule; must report to hospital within 30 minutes when on call; average of one birth per day
